Joel L. Cook, O.D.
Dr. Cook has practiced in San Diego since 1977 after serving as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. His optometric education was at the University of Houston. A past president of the San Diego County Optometric Society, Dr. Cook has special interests in contact lenses and the treatment and management of external eye disease. His patients benefit from his unique understanding of LASIK, having undergone the procedure himself. A former glider plane enthusiast, Dr. Cook enjoys yoga, astronomy, and spending time with his wife.

Kevin M. Reeder, O.D.
Dr. Reeder is a San Diego native and graduate of UC Berkeley. He has practiced optometry since 1988. His areas of interest include laser vision correction, visual rehabilitation of the partially blind, and specialty contact lens fitting. Dr. Reeder has performed contact lens research for several contact lens companies, including Alcon Laboratories, Ciba Vision, Allergan Pharmaceuticals, and Polymer Technology. He is a clinical investigator with Paragon Vision Sciences for a special contact lens-based procedure called Corneal Refractive Therapy. Dr. Reeder provides charitable eye care through Help the World See. He is married with two children and enjoys music and tennis.

Barbara H. Bytomski, O.D.
Dr. Bytomski graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry and has practiced in Rancho Penasquitos since 1986. A past president for the San Diego chapter of College of Optometrists in Vision Development, her areas of interest include children's eye care, vision therapy, contact lenses, and laser vision correction. Dr. Bytomski serves as a vision consultant for the Poway Unified School District. A San Diego native, she enjoys time with her three children, golfing, and tending to roses.

Brian Chou, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Chou earned his doctorate of optometry at UC Berkeley and went on to complete a year-long fellowship in refractive surgery management at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA School of Medicine. An author of numerous articles in eye care publications, he hosts one of the leading eye care websites, RefractiveSource.com. Dr. Chou has a clinical interest caring for patients with irregular corneas from refractive surgery, corneal transplantation, trauma, and an eye disease called keratoconus. Dr. Chou provides charitable eye care through Flying Doctors and Hospital de la Familia. He is married and enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and golf.

Earl Sandler, O.D.
Dr. Sandler started his optometric training in South Africa, where he received a Bachelor Degree in Optometry. He then continued his training at the New England College Of Optometry in Boston where he received a Doctorate of Optometry in 1996. He is certified in Laser Therapy for the anterior segment and has experience in managing ocular external disease. Dr. Sandler's areas of interest include specialty contact lenses and pre and post surgical care. Dr. Sandler's passion and dedication for his profession as well as sincere attitude and caring nature enables him to provide his patients with complete and comprehensive care. Dr. Sandler is married with one child and enjoys playing most sports, especially soccer.
